Jasmine Plummer is an American football player known for being a pioneer for female athletes. She was the first-ever female quarterback for a Pop Warner football team, and she went on to play football in high school, college, and semi-professionally. She is also a motivational speaker and an advocate for female athletes.

Plummer is currently playing as a running back for the Nevada Storm in the semi-pro Women’s Football Alliance. She also got a PhD in Developmental Neurobiology and is currently working at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

Plummer’s story was made into a movie in 2008 called The Longshots. The movie starred Keke Palmer as Jasmine Plummer and Ice Cube as her uncle.
